This online environment is produced by CULTA (Cultural Training and Activation Initiative) project (10/2018-09/2021). The platform represents the concrete and unique cross border cooperation between Finland and Russia and offers possibilities to build capacity and knowledge for developing cultural ideas and services and for building business of it.
With this platform we want to encourage people to learn from other cultures and recognize the possibilities that cross-border co-operation can create.

CULTA project was funded by KareliaCBC programme, which is financed by EU, Russia and Finland.
Mission of the project was to strengthen competence and connections for businesses in creative industries between Finland and Russia. The target groups included higher education students, cultural professionals and companies in the field of creative industries.
Partners in the project were Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Petrozavodsk State University, Karelian College of Culture and Arts, and South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences
